Arctic Furs is set quilted armor in Diablo II. It is one of the four pieces of the Arctic Gear item set.
For those who are able to find it, it gives very high defense for its very low level requirement and when another piece of the set is worn, the defense is boosted even more with +3 per Character Level. It's often combined with the Belt, since the very high defense, as well as decent Magic Find in the early game is good.
As it is a Treasure Class 3 item, it may only be found in Normal Act I. Its high uqlvl make it a very rare drop.
Arctic Furs' unusually high Enhanced Defense % modifier grants it extremely high defense should it be upgraded in the Horadric Cube, up to a gargantuan 1,957 defense. This modification is only possible in Diablo II: Resurrected.
