The Arachnid Lair is a spider-infested optional dungeon located within the Spider Forest. The waypoint is always found outside its entrance. As its name suggests, the Arachnid Lair is crowded with spider-themed enemies, including Poison Spinners and Flame Spiders.
The Arachnid Lair is very similar in appearance to the Spider Cavern, which is also located within the Spider Forest. In order to complete Khalim's Will (quest), players need to obtain Khalim's Eye which can be found within the Spider Cavern. The Spider Cavern is never next to the Spider Forest waypoint.
In Diablo II: Resurrected, the Arachnid Lair's area level was raised to 85. It is a superb place for treasure hunting, due to its extremely close proximity to a waypoint, its high boss pack density, and its super chest reliably located in the left-most corner. As Poison, Fire and Lightning immune monsters are commonly found in it, it is best for cold and physical-based characters to farm.
