A Barbarian in front of the anvil
The Anvil of Annihilation was among the many anvils of the Hellforge. It was here that angelic weapons and artifacts were destroyed. Legend held that anything broken upon the anvil, no matter how powerful, would be forever negated. This held true in the case of the soulstones of Diablo and Mephisto, which were both destroyed on the anvil at the hands of a group of heroes.[1][2]
