Anson is an NPC that is seen in Diablo Immortal.
Biography[]
Anson was betrothed to Demie. As part of courtship, he decided to take Demie to the top of one of the peaks beside Mount Arreat during winter, when the snow was most beautiful. Demie was not comfortable with the idea, but she agreed anyway. Unfortunately, she got ill and fell into a coma.[1]
Ansen searched and travelled far to find a cure for his betrothed. At Bitter Hearth, an Umbaru girl told him that it would be too difficult to wake Demie, as she had been asleep for too long. He found an old text that had a ritual that might cure Demie. He just needed "the coldest water that still flows, and the hottest heart's blood.". Each time he tried to get the cold water flowing beneath a frozen lake, he was attacked by vultures.[1]
With the help of a passing adventurer, he was able to retrieve both ingredients. When he started the ritual, Demie briefly woke up. Anson rushed to hug her, despite their protests. As the lovers embraced they were frozen and trapped in eternal slumber.[1]

Anson can be found at the fishing point of the Everfrost Lake in Frozen Tundra. He gives the side quest, Embracing Winter.
