Anajinn is based around the female Crusader class of Diablo III. Provision is made for her to be the canonical representation of the Nephalem, though her short story leaves it open for another Crusader to take its place.
A Legendary flail weapon known as the Golden Scourge once belonged to one of the Crusaders who bore Anajinn's name before. She killed so many enemies with it that her apprentice lost count, but figured that their corpses would cover the distance from Kurast to Westmarch. Twice.
