Alma is a refugee from Caldeum.
Character[]
Alma is a loving mother, who cares a lot for her children. She broke down into tears when she was separated from them in a sandstorm. She is also very affectionate, and hugged her children on different occasions in order to comfort them.
Biography[]
Alma lived with her husband Kaapo, and children Bahar and Ram, in Caldeum. For reasons not mentioned, her whole family had to leave in a hurry. They migrated to Shassar Sea.[1]
Shortly after they arrived Kaapo ran afoul with the local gang; the Sand Scorpions, and she had to take the children and escape to safety. They were then caught in a sandstorm, where she was separated from her children.[1]
After finding out that her children were missing she wept in grief. Shortly after, an adventurer passed by. She pleaded with them to help her search for her children. As they retraced her steps they found the children's toys in the sand. Fortunately, Bahar and Ram were hiding beneath the skeletal remains of a large beast, where they took shelter from the storm.[1]
The children were then attacked by Desert Crawlers, but were protected by the adventurer. After showing their gratitude, the children expressed concern for their fathers whereabouts. As Alma comforted them, the adventurer volunteered to look for Kaapo. They returned with news that Kaapo was killed, but the Sand Scorpion camp had been decimated.[1]

Alma in the Windswept Sands
Alma is an NPC in Diablo Immortal. She can occasionally be seen weeping in the Windswept Sands. Talking to her initiates the side quest, No Place for Children.
