Alley of Blood

Alley of Blood is a recurring PvP event in Diablo Immortal. It is the battle format for Shadow War and the Vigil of Blades component of Cycle of Strife.

It is currently running from July 12, 3 a.m.–July 19, 3 a.m. server time, 2024.

Gameplay[]

Alley of Blood is a MOBA-style battle a single lane and turrets on both sides. The goal of each team is to destroy the other team's turrets and Crystal Heart. Sacred Guardians spawn as NPCs that fight on the side of their respective team.

Defeated players drop Champion's Marks that increase character power. A player also drops a portion of their current Champion's Marks upon being killed.

Specialist Skills[]

These skills are available only during the Alley of Blood event. Each player can only use one, and each team can only have skills from the same category selected by two players, but those two players may select the same skill from that category.

The skills have a cooldown of 60 or 90 seconds.

  • Focus
    • Anguish Brand: Mark one enemy player for 6 seconds. The marked enemy will drop one of their Champion's Marks for every 5% Life they lose. When the mark expires, that enemy takes damage equal to 30% of the Life lost while marked. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
    • Stone Hex: Bestows a curse upon a target enemy player, turning them to stone and making them vulnerable to attacks from friends or foes. The curse lifts after 6 seconds or if the target dies. Cooldown: 90 seconds.
  • Siege
    • Guardian's Call: Summon a single guardian that will move forward, attacking enemy Sacred Guardians and structures. The player must stay within proximity of the guardian, or it will stand still. Cooldown: 90 seconds.
    • Siege Weapon: Summons a turret at the player’s location that prioritizes targeting enemy structures, dealing area of effect damage where it strikes. The turret self-destructs after 8 seconds. Cooldown: 90 seconds.
  • Skirmish
    • Dwindlemurk: Releases a fan-shaped blast of fog. Enemy players affected by the fog have their Max Life decreased by 20%, and their size and damage are decreased by 50%. This effect lasts for 6 seconds. Cooldown: 90 seconds.
    • Executioner's Glare: Fires a torrent of energy in a line that pierce across the map. Deals damage to all enemies hit, and players with less than 10% Life are killed instantly. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
  • Support
    • Blessing of Momentum: Grant teammates immunity to loss of control and increase their Attack Speed for 4 seconds. Cooldown: 90 seconds.
    • Justice Shield: Generate a wall at the target location that absorbs projectiles that hit its front. Lasts for 6 seconds. Cooldown: 90 seconds.

Limited time event[]

The limited time event of Alley of Blood was a 4v4 version. Players could earn rewards for the following tasks:

History[]

Alley of Blood was introduced in the September 21, 2023 update, replacing the battle format for Shadow War. The standalone, 4v4 version became a recurring event afterwards.

While Event Center was active, Seal of Triumph rewards were added to the event rewards.
