"Zebediah dropped to the ground, catching his precious keepsake seconds before it could crash upon the stone. The vampire's limbs enveloped him, but the curse was what truly held him. Zebediah's skin stretched and changed; he gave in, growing into a flayed mass of muscle and blood to rival the vampire in strength and hunger both."

An Abomination

Abominations are monstrous darkness deep within the souls of Blood Knights that hunger for violence.[1]

Lore[]

"It will not be easy. You will train, and you will hunt. And you will die a monster, more wretched than the one that took your life. Your end will be no better for the evil you have slain, for all the good you have done. If you would wake to this life, then vow. Vow it on your blood."

- Zebediah to a prospective Blood Knight(src)

Abominations are the true manifestation of their curse.[2] Blood Knights can temporarily "let the curse off the leash," allowing them to turn into a creature that is possessed of even greater strength and speed than they would otherwise possess.[1] When a Blood Knight succumbs to their curse, they permanently turn into an Abomination.[3]

In-game[]

Diablo Immortal[]

Abomination appears in Diablo Immortal as a skill for the Blood Knight class.
