The Abandoned Prison
The Abandoned Prison is the actual prison within Stormpoint island. The worst prisoners from Westmarch were condemned here.[1]

Structure[]
The prison was built into the rocky cliffs of an islet, and connected to the keep on the main island with a lift. A small dock is located at the entrance of the prison.
Recent History[]
Shortly after the Worldstone was destroyed, a shard of it was washed into a sea cave beneath the prison. The warden found it and took it to his room. As a result, the shard began to influence the denizens of the prison, and warp them into hideous monsters. Over time, the whole island was warped by the power of the corrupted shard.[2]
Terror's Tide[]
By 1272, the Cult of Terror attacked Stormpoint, and their legions marched towards the prison; the place they divined to be the location of the shard.[3] The Westmarch soldiers at Stormpoint made a last stand at the entrance of the prison; both to stop the monstrosities from escaping, and the cultists from reaching their goal.[4]
